For the JN1 project — delivered for the COP (Jeonnam Offshore Wind Power Corp., JOWP) — Dimension designed, built and operated South Korea's first integrated Cable Lay System (CLS) for the leading cable maker: CPS-deployment quadrant + A-frame and a 10 m-burial Vertical Injector, believed to be the world's deepest cable-lay burial for power cables — all inside a 9-month window that also absorbed full cable-lay mobilisation and a retractable-thruster upgrade on the lay vessel.
For the JN1 Offshore Wind Project in Jeonnam, Korea, Dimension delivered a complete turnkey solution covering engineering, project management and offshore operations. The team pioneered the design of a custom Vertical Injector (VI) for efficient cable burial and executed a seamless shore-end pull-in combined with simultaneous cable laying.
Each export cable operation featured a 600 m float-out, precise barge beaching at KP 0.6, and nearshore vessel manoeuvring using advanced mooring patterns. Leveraging the in-house VI, Dimension achieved an impressive burial depth of up to 9–10 m — believed to be the world's deepest cable-lay burial for power cables, setting new standards for reliability and performance.
| Parameter | Value |
